BSI LM0 is a high purity aluminum casting alloy that contains a minimum of 99.50% aluminum (1xx.x). It has the best corrosion resistance of all the aluminium casting alloys, but its poor foundry characteristics and low mechanical properties rule out this alloy for all but a few special applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Al-495. Producer or source: British Standards Institution.

ATI 6-6-2 (UNS R56620) is a highly beta-stabilized, two-phase, alpha-beta titanium alloy which is a modification of the Ti-6Al- 4V system. Because of the higher beta stabilizing elements (additional vanadium plus iron and copper), this alloy has a higher strength potential than ATI Ti-6Al-4V alloy, but at a sacrifice of weldability and toughness. In most cases, the welding of ATI 6-6-2 is not recommended. It can be used in the annealed or solution treated and aged conditions. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ti-189. Producer or source: ATI.

Mueller Brass C48500, also known as leaded naval brass, is a wrought copper-zinc-lead-tin alloy. It is a high-zinc brass to which a small amount of tin is added to improve its corrosion resistance and also to impart higher strength. Tin, like arsenic, antimony, and phosphorus, reduces susceptibility to dezincification. Mueller Brass C48500 possesses good hot formability and is fairly well adapted to any hot working process including forging. Due to its lead content, the alloy has poor cold forming characteristics. Due to this limitation, this alloy is best suited for machining applications rather than typical cold working operations. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-936. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.

Austral Wright Copper Alloy 220 (UNS C22000), also known as 90/10 gilding metal, is a wrought copper-zinc alloy. It combines a rich golden color with the best combination of strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance of the plain copper-zinc alloys. It weathers to a rich bronze color and can be supplied in pre-patinated colors ranging from deep brown to green. Austral Wright Copper Alloy 220 has a lower rate of work hardening than the copper-zinc alloys with higher zinc content, such as alloys 260 and 272. This is an advantage in multistage pressing applications without interstage annealing. It has excellent deep drawing characteristics and resistance to pitting corrosion when exposed to severe weather and water environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-935. Producer or source: Austral Wright Metals.

Rio Tinto C355.2 is a heat-treatable, aluminum-silicon-copper-magnesium casting alloy (3xx.x series). It is available in the form of ingots for remelting, to be used for the production of sand and permanent mold castings. Alloy C355.0 is a higher purity, low iron version of alloy 355.0. Both the alloys are similar, except the lower iron in C355.0 provides better elongation and somewhat higher tensile strength. Alloy C355.0 is used in premium, high strength applications where castings are usually heat treated for maximum strength. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-490. Producer or source: Rio Tinto Limited.

Aurubis C12200 (Cu-DHP) is a phosphorus-deoxidized copper, that contains a minimum of 99.9% copper and high residual phosphorus (0.015–0.040%). It is the most widely used copper for tube and pipe but also finds widespread use for sheet and strip items. Aurubis C12200 exhibits better ductility than Cu-ETP and is adaptable for progressive drawing operations requiring few or no intermediate anneals. A major advantage of Aurubis C12200 is the freedom from hydrogen embrittlement susceptibility in reducing atmospheres. This advantage is utilized in the cladding of steel and subsequent reducing atmosphere anneals without incurring the embrittlement, which occurs when cladding with Cu-ETP. The electrical and thermal conductivity are lower when compared with Cu-ETP but adequate for many applications as exemplified by a major use of strip to produce air conditioning and refrigeration tubing by gas shielding arc welding techniques. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: Cu-934. Producer or source: Aurubis AG.
