ASM’s 2022 Class of Fellows

For more than 90 years, ASM International has recognized the achievements of individuals and organizations that contribute to materials science and engineering. Continue this tradition by nominating candidates for ASM Awards. There are over twenty ASM Awards that recognize individuals and/or organizations for technical achievements, teaching, research, development and furthering the purpose and mission of ASM.

Awards are presented at the ASM Awards Dinner banquet as well as highlighted in Advanced Materials & Processes magazine and on the ASM website.

2022 ASM Award Program Recipients

The ASM International Board of Trustees has named award program recipients for 2022. The awards program recognizes achievements of members of the materials science and engineering community. Awards were presented at ASM’s Awards Dinner during IMAT22.

William Hunt Eisenman Award
Dr. Valery Rudnev, FASM,Director, Science & Technology,

“For dedicated service to the global materials science community, leadership, development and promotion of induction heating and heat treating technologies and novel technologies.”

The award was established in 1960, in memory of a founding member of ASM, and its first and only secretary for 40 years. It recognizes unusual achievements in industry in the practical application of materials science and engineering through production or engineering use.
