EASTERN Z-METAL is a cast ferrous alloy that possesses a unique combination of high strength, machinability, wear resistance, and toughness. Its microstructure consists of temper carbon nodules dispersed through a uniform matrix of spheroidite and ferrite. This alloy is made in several different grades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue.
