MICROZINC Alloy 100 is a zinc-lead-cadmium alloy having good ductility with adequate strength, good resistance to corrosion, and a low coefficient of sliding friction. It is solderable and non-magnetic. Processing differences give three commercial products or classes designated= 101, 102 and 103. This alloy does not stain other materials. Its many uses include jewelry, coins and battery cans. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength.
