Abstract
AMPCO A-1 is a cast copper-base alloy well suited for use up to 750 F. It is characterized by fairly high hardness and strength, good resistance to fatigue and wear, and excellent corrosion resistance. Among its many applications are acid-resisting pumps, pickling equipment, gears, marine hardware and propellers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength.
