Copper Alloy No. 922 is a cast copper-tin-zinc-lead alloy formerly identified as Navy M or 88-6-1.5-4.5 alloy. It possesses a good combination of machinability, strength and resistance to corrosion. Alloy No. 922 is a good material to use in castings subject to liquid or gas pressures. Its many uses include valves, piston rings and pump impellers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue.
