NUCLEAR METALS NM-100 is a highly alloyed martensitic steel characterized by excellent resistance to wear and corrosion at temperatures up to 1100 F. It is a powder-metallurgy (P-M) product with a fully dense, wrought structure made possible by a process that includes hot extrusion of canned, pre-alloyed powder. It is used for high-temperature components such as bearings and bushings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
