INDALLOY No. 255 is a fusible alloy that melts at 255 F. This low-melting eutectic alloy provides scientists and engineers with an easily castable material that is ready for use as soon as it freezes. It can be recovered easily and recycled into new uses any number of times. Among its many applications are proof-casting, liquid seals for heat-treating furnaces, non-shrinking patterns and dental models.
