NIKROTHAL 8 is a nickel-chromium electrical-resistance alloy for use in appliances and industrial furnaces. Its maximum recommended element temperature in continuous use is 1200 C (2190 F). Nikrothal 8 is non-magnetic, highly resistant to corrosion, and has a lower temperature coefficient of electrical resistance than other alloys for heating elements. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties.
