ALUMINUM 6463 is an aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy used widely for extrusions. It can be hardened and strengthened by a precipitation-hardening heat treatment. Its many applications comprise extrusions for trim and archtectural use in the automotive, appliance and building industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue.
