Type CD-4MCu is an iron-chromium-nickel-copper-molybdenum alloy having corrosion resistance in many media superior to that of ACI Types CF-8 and CF-8M cast stainless steels; in addition, Type CD-4MCu has about double the yield strength of the other two alloys. Type CD-4MCu combines good ductility with high hardness and has excellent resistance to abrasion, erosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
