Copper Alloy No. C86300 is a copper-zinc-aluminum-manganese-iron alloy. It may be classified as high-strength yellow brass (or high-tensile manganese bronze). In the as-cast condition it has a tensile strength of 110,000 psi minimum. It combines high strength with good ductility and good resistance to corrosion. Its applications include propellers, heavy-duty bearings, cams and marine hardware.
