Abstract
MUELLER COPPER 1470 is a high-conductivity copper to which sulfur has been added to provide free-machining characteristics. Thus it is well suited for screw-machine work. Its electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance approach those of copper but it has higher strength and better machinability. Among its many specific applications are plumbing fittings, electrical connectors, screws, cold-heated and machined parts and cold forgings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
