ABEX PACE is a modified high-chromium iron alloy. Its composition is balanced to achieve a unique microstructure. PACE (Protection Against Corrosion/Erosion) was developed to replace stainless steels and abrasion-resistant alloys in applications where abrasive and corrosive environments exist simultaneously. Its predecessor, ABEX SPA ALLOY (Alloy Digest CI-47, January 1979), achieved remarkable results in a limited acid pH range, but the PACE alloy extends these properties to all environments, and incorporates enhanced machinability. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength.
