ALUMINUM 336.0 is a high-silicon aluminum-base alloy recommended for high-strength permanent-mold castings. It responds to an age-hardening heat treatment. Its applications include automotive and diesel pistons, pulleys and sheaves. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as creep and fatigue.
