Abstract
AISI No. 651 is an austenitic iron-base superalloy with a relatively high ratio of strength to alloying element content. It is capable of withstanding high static and dynamic stresses through at least 1200 F. It is used for various high-temperature applications such as components for jet engines, gas turbines, turbochargers and missiles. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-478.
