Copper Alloy No. C91700 is a medium strength casting alloy. Formerly it was known as Nickel Gear Bronze and 861/2-12- 0-0-11/2; these names are no longer recommended. It has a good combination of strength, ductility and resistance to corrosion and wear. Its typical tensile strength is 60,000 psi in the as-cast condition. Typical applications include gears and worm wheels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
