UNS No. Z35635 is a zinc-aluminum-copper-magnesium foundry alloy recommended for castings of moderate strength and low cost. It was designed for use in nonferrous permanent-mold foundries to compete with cast-iron, aluminum and bronze castings. The alloy can be sand cast and die cast. Its many uses include hardware, valves, implement components and equipment for liquid fuel transfer because it is non-sparking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue.
