Abstract
ZAMAK 2 is the strongest and hardest of the four Zamak alloys. While generally produced by die casting, ZAMAK 2 is occasionally gravity cast. It is not a widely used alloy. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
