Abstract
Project 70 and Project 7000 Type 304 stainless steel are versions of conventional AISI Type 304 (18Cr-8Ni) stainless steel having improved machinability and higher tensile and creep strengths. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-418. Producer or source: Carpenter.
