Kaiser Aluminum Alloy 2024 has good machinability and good mechanical properties. The alloy is typically used in aircraft structures, rivets, connectors, hydraulic valve bodies, and miscellaneous structural applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: AL-357.
