Thyrodur 2826 is a shock-resistant tool steel of average hardenability and intermediate alloy content compared with other tool steels with high toughness and resistance to shock. Shock-resistant steels are used primarily for chisels, rivet sets, punches, driver bits, and other applications requiring high toughness and resistance to shock loading.
