Abstract
Fortiform is a family of advanced high-strength steels for the automotive market that absorbs energy in vehicle crashes. The Fortiform range includes three steel grades: Fortiform 980, Fortiform 1050 and Fortiform 1180. The grade number indicates the tensile strength of each steel in MPa (142, 152, and 171 ksi, respectively). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on forming and joining.
