Abstract
Copper Alloy No. 858 is a copper-zinc-tin-lead (yellow brass) alloy for die castings. It is a low-cost, general-purpose alloy with good machinability and soldering characteristics. Its many uses include general and marine hardware, pump, impellers, plumbing parts and gears. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
