CarTech 321 is a titanium-stabilized chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel that was developed to provide the performance of an 18-8 austenitic stainless steel with improved intergranular corrosion resistance. Since titanium has a stronger affinity for carbon than chromium, titanium carbide tends to precipitate randomly within the grains instead of forming continuous patterns at the grain boundaries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
