Austral Wright 5083 is a wrought, non-heat-treatable, aluminum-magnesium-manganese-chromium alloy (5xxx series). It has the highest strength of the non-heat-treatable alloys but is not recommended for use at temperatures in excess of 65 °C (150 °F). It is among the most widely used aluminum alloys for marine applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties.
