ALUMINUM 1060 is a commercially pure grade of aluminum (99.6% minimum aluminum) recommended for applications requiring one or more of the following characteristics: excellent formability, excellent resistance to corrosion and excellent weldability. It has relatively low strength. It is recommended for hydrogen peroxide service and is used where minimum catalytic action is required. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue.
