Abstract
CARPENTER MOLY ASCOLOY is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum-vanadium hardenable martensitic stainless steel designed for service up to 1200 F (649 C). It is utilized in steam turbine buckets and in compressor components in gas turbines and in other high-temperature applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-463. Producer or source: Carpenter.
