UHB IMPAX P20 is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum tool steel for molds. It is supplied in the prehardened condition, so that the mold cavity can be machined and the mold placed directly in service. It is used for molds for plastics and die-casting molds for zinc, lead and tin alloys. (See update, IMPAX SUPREME, Alloy Digest TS-497, March 1989.) This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
