CRUCIBLE CPM 9V is a tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) Process. It is a lower carbon and vanadium modification of Crucible CPM 10V with enhanced toughness and heat-check resistance. This provides CPM 9V with an excellent combination of properties for both hot and cold-work applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness.
